The healing properties of time are mentioned all the time, but I don't subscribe to that school of thought so much. Its all in the head, I suppose - time has very little to do with it.
Two train journeys, exactly an year apart, yet so very different. That day, I felt I was on top of the world - literally as well. But today feels like I'm six feet under.
As they say ...
The sun is the same in the relative way, but you're older
Shorter of breath and one day closer to death

Yep, its all in the mind. Lots of people have told me that "time heals every pain" but it doesn't, and I learnt it the hard way.
Have you heard "One last breath" by Creed?
"I'm six feet from the edge and I'm thinking
That maybe six feet
Ain't so far down"
hmm ... so I have experienced.
And yes, the Creed song is one of my favourites, but Pink Floyd still trumps them, you know..
kalti.com kept playing this one in the loop... remember?
